VOLLMER takes part in the virtual Metav trade fair 2021-03-11

The sharpening specialist VOLLMER is taking part in the metal trade fair "Metav digital 2021", which will be held virtually from March 23 to 26. Under the trade show motto "Networking", the Swabian machine builder will showcase its grinding and eroding machines as well as digital solutions for meaningful networking of man and machine. Interested parties worldwide can visit the Vollmer booth online in a 3D environment and exchange live virtual information with the VOLLMER team. 

Metav is the industry get-together of the VDW (German Machine Tool Builders' Association) and will be held online this year as "Metav digital 2021". The metal trade fair will open its virtual doors from March 23 to 26 via the Metav website (https://metav-digital.de/en). Biberach-based sharpening specialist VOLLMER will be there, showing the two sharpening machines VHybrid 360 and VGrind 340S at its virtual booth. Trade fair visitors will be greeted, informed and advised live and in several languages by a team of experts. 

The VGrind 340S grinding machine is suitable for machining the smallest carbide tools with diameters between 0.3 and 12.7 millimeters, i.e. intricate drills and milling cutters, such as those in demand for metal cutting in automotive engineering, the electronics industry or medical technology. The VHybrid 360 can be used to grind and erode carbide and PCD tools in one combined set-up. The VHybrid 360 offers tool manufacturers high machining efficiency to reduce production times and achieve maximum precision. 

In addition to these sharpening machines, VOLLMER is integrating videos and downloads into its trade show presence that provide additional information about VOLLMER machines and services. These include the offerings of the V@dison digital initiative, such as the V@ boost solution "Performance Package for VHybrid 360" or the V@ guide solution "Visual Support", which allows customers to network with VOLLMER technicians in real time. In addition, the machine builder will provide information about its current web seminars, which it uses to impart its knowledge about sharpening.
